21.03.2025
On April 8, the first meeting of the first aid courses will begin in the classrooms of the university hospital, aimed at university students of all courses at the University. Several dates are planned for this educational offering, which will end on September 11.
The "Basic Life Support (BLS) Course" teaches essential basics for providing assistance at the event scene, highlighting the importance of early action in situations where waiting for help could be fatal. The techniques are taught with simplicity and a practical approach, accessible to all participants.
In parallel, the initiative "BLSD Course for the Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)" provides specific skills for recognizing and managing emergency situations, applying cardiopulmonary resuscitation manoeuvers, and using the defibrillator.
Both proposed courses aim to train individuals capable of responding effectively to emergencies, creating a healthier and safer university community. At the end of the training, those who have participated will be able to assess emergency scenarios, identify warning signs, and intervene promptly. These initiatives not only save lives but also promote a culture of attention and responsibility with a positive long-term impact.
