April 25, Liberation Day at FG²¶Óã

The educational activities are suspended on Thursday, April 25, and Friday, April 26, in celebration of Italy's liberation from Nazi-fascism; furthermore, in Treviso, where some FG²¶Óã courses are held (for patronal celebration). Several study rooms remain open, even on days when classes are suspended. FG²¶Óã offices are closed from April 25 to Sunday, April 28.

As the only university decorated with a , the University of Padua played a fundamental role in the twenty months of resistance against German occupation and the revived fascism of Sal¨°. The ?covering squares, palaces, and streets that witnessed episodes of the liberation war.

During these days, Palazzo Bo is open for guided tours, featuring a special tour on the "900s of Gio Ponti" that includes, in addition to the historic circuit, spaces such as the Rectorate, the Ancient Archive, and the Basilica.
