Operating Procedure No. 5 outlines the procedures to be followed for the management of out-of-service equipment to be disposed of that contains asbestos components, provided the asbestos is certified by analysis as compact, intact, and stable. Therefore, materials containing asbestos originating from construction and maintenance activities are excluded.
