Universit脿 Aperta is the event that every year helps students and recent graduates of the University of Padua to enter the job market.
During the event candidates can meet company representatives, submit their CVs (it is advisable to bring several updated copies), gather information on internship opportunities and learn about professional offers, required profiles and career dynamics. The last editions were attended by around 3,000 students and over 100 companies.听

Universit脿 Aperta is an opportunity for students and graduates of the University of Padua to meet with employers: an open dialogue between the university world and the professional world.

Universit脿 Aperta PhD is the career day dedicated to researchers and PhD students of the University of Padua, held every year in March. Organised and promoted by the Career Service of the University of Padua, this initiative represents an important opportunity for companies to meet with young researchers in order to introduce them to their own reality and their professional needs related to innovation and development (R&D sector), as well as to help them in a future job placement within the company.
The next edition of Universit脿 Aperta PhD is held online on Zoom on Thursday 20 March 2025.

Business Game for Data Scientist 鈥� Thursday 10 April 2025
Business game based on the ability to analyse and create a forecasting model on the basis of a real data set, followed by individual interviews with participating companies.
The competition is individual and open to all university students and graduates able to work as data scientists. Each candidate must provide the hardware (computer, tablet, etc.) and software he or she considers necessary to carry out the analyses. During the competition one may use any programming language or software considered appropriate and suitable. The responsibility for the ownership rights and licences required to use any software lies with the individual participant.
For the first three classified in the business game, who have held interviews with the companies present, there are prizes in the form of Amazon vouchers.
Registration for candidates is open from Friday 21 March to Friday 4 April 2025.

9:00-13:00: Business game
The prediction ability of the candidates' models is based on an external database and is therefore an objective (and quantitative) assessment: based on these results, the scoring and ranking of the candidates is established.
14:30-18:00: interviews
Participants in the business game hold online interviews with participating companies.
To participate, it is necessary to register on听, attaching a pdf CV and compulsorily booking interviews with听at least 3 companies听in order to have a chance of winning prizes.

To best prepare for the Business Game, on Friday 28 March, we hold the preparatory meeting "Optimize Your Profile, Maximize Your Opportunities". During this meeting, we will provide you with strategies to make the most of this opportunity. You will learn how to enhance your profile in a short time and how to present yourself concisely yet effectively, optimizing interactions with recruiters from the companies present. Our goal is to prepare you to transform these brief encounters into potential career opportunities.
The session in English will be held at 11:00 AM, followed by CV checks.
The event will take place in person in room SC20 of the Department of Statistical Sciences within the Santa Caterina Complex (Via Cesare Battisti, 241 -Padova).
You can participate without reservation until the maximum capacity of the room is reached.
The 'CV check' is an individual session with the University's Career Service staff. You will receive personalized feedback, advices, and practical suggestions to improve the effectiveness of your CV.

Universit脿 aperta Agripolis - VII edition - 12 October 2023
On Thursday 12 October 2023 the University of Padua hosts the career day dedicated to local companies and students and graduates of the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. The event will be hosted from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Agripolis Campus of the University of Padua in Legnaro (Padua).
The initiative represents an important opportunity for companies to meet with young people from the agricultural and food courses of study in order to introduce them to their business reality and their training and professional needs and to facilitate job placement.
The event is free and open access, interviews with attending companies will be prioritised scheduled before the event. It will still be possible to come to the event on the same day and meet the companies, waiting for free time slots other than those already scheduled.

In order to prepare in the best possible way for the career day Universit脿 Aperta Agripolis, on Thursday 5 October 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00 a webinar will be held on Zoom entitled "Job Dating: resume in hand and just a few minutes to convince your interlocutor that you are the right one!"
The Warm up is held in Italian. English speakers can attend the Warm Up in a separate room within the Zoom meeting itself.

Universit脿 aperta IES - XIII edition - 9 November 2023
On Thursday 9 November 2023, there will be a University Career Day dedicated to companies wishing to get in touch with students and graduates from the Engineering, Economics and Science courses. The event will be in person and will be hosted in Pavilion 15 of the Padua Exhibition Centre.听
The interviews with companies will take place in the form of one-to-one speed interviews with free access. Each candidate will be able to choose to present themselves autonomously at the stands of the companies of interest to leave their CV and have a brief interview with the company representatives. Online registration is optional and not binding: no interviews will be scheduled before the event. Please remember to bring your CV with you.
