The communication about mountain areas often falls into simplified formulas that reflect the most widespread stereotypes about Italian mountain regions. The course aims to provide useful tools to highlight the most common stereotypes and erroneous information about the mountains, with the intent of guiding the lexicon and audiovisual communication of mountain areas, to enhance their complexity and specific historical, environmental, and territorial characteristics. The course is aimed at journalists, tourism operators, administrators, teachers, economic operators, and third sector professionals interested in effective communication that respects the uniqueness of mountain territories.
